In fact, she suffered a lot to be where she is now.A brief look into Qara's historyThe pain of loss in her youth.Her clan was killed when she was still a baby, and her adoptive family suffered a similar fate. As fate willed it, she was in Yyasulani when the temporal bubble happened.Qara's rebellious teen yearsShe grew up in the mysterious place that is Solution 9. A rebel against the system, she caused mayhem and chaos, growing wilder and more dangerous as she got older.Qara's introduction to the ArcadionEventually she would end up getting captured by the authorities, which led to her forced inclusion into the Arcadion in the pre-feral soul usage days.Finding her stride fighting daily, she gained a reputation, and eventually would be given the title of 'The Azure Shadow', named for her swift strikes. A non-regulator user, she quickly went up the rankings, equally gaining new fans and rivals as she kept getting stronger. Her rebellious nature was quelled by the fires of combat, and things would stay stable like this for a few years, until...The introduction of Feral SoulsA big schism was introduced when Feral Souls were added, creating huge spectacles that drew record breaking crowds, throwing regular one-on-one combat in the shadows. Eventually the Ascension Arcadia Championship took completely over, leaving non-feral soul users in the dust.Qara's AugmentationTo be clear, Qara always had a distaste for Regulators - she saw them as unnatural and would never use one. However, during her time in the Arcadion, she made contact with shady scientists that ran experiments - an augmentation program that would give her a fighting chance against feral soul users. This experiment would fuse massive quantities of Electrope within her body, and to this day she is the only survivor of this process.Her new form - which she would later call Ampvolted - was taller and much stronger, without sacrificing the speed she was known form. She entered the AAC and began working her way to the top. But as life goes, sometimes it likes to throw curveballs.The birth (and death) of ZephyrusEven though she wasn't as wild as she was in her youth, Qara would still very commonly take lovers, and on the year she turned 30, she would end up pregnant, giving birth to a single child - Zephyrus.Taking a step back from the Arcadion meant she quickly vanished from the public eye as her popularity plummeted. But a quiet life was okay with her if it meant spending time with her son and watching him grow.He showed a lot of promise, surely a result of some properties of Qara's Electrope augmentations having fused to him as well.All would be great for the first five years of his life. But one day she'd get back home to find him dead on the ground. There was signs of a struggle - he was murdered.With Qara's broken heart, chaos reignsThe passing of her child was one thing, but when the Regulators kicked in and did their purpose, making everyone completely forget he ever existed, she snapped.This massive surge of emotions made the Electrope inside her go critical, taking in the aether around her, making her grow bigger and even more feral and vicious, blindly causing chaos and damage throughout the Everkeep. This new form would be later be named 'Overvolted'.Her ultimate target was the leader Zoraal Ja, but her vengeance would be cut short as an explosion would nearly kill her and throw her into the depths of the Everkeep.Recovery and lost meaningOver the next few months, Qara slowly recovered, consuming nothing but electric aether. Having fallen near the Everkeep's core kept her energized, and slowly she found how to bypass the Queen's security systems and got direct access to the entire system that powered all of the Everkeep - using this to get even bigger and stronger than before, a new form called 'Queenvolted'.With this power she would now be able to enact her vengeance, and yet...When she got back topside, it was already too late. The Warrior of Light had already killed Zoraal Ja and made Solution 9 a much better place, getting the general population to move away from using Regulators. The Arcadion once again no longer used Feral Souls. Qara had no more home, and while her vengeance went unquelled, she had this entire suite of powers and forms at her fingertips.shaping a new futureAfter being trapped here for 30 years, Qara would finally return to an Etheirys that barely aged a day during her absence. Rekindling old connections and making new friends, she would slowly grow to love again and see the light of the world, using her powers to make a positive impact on those around her once again.
